When I bought this body butter, I had no planned use for it. It just sounded like a good thing for the dry winter months. I had no idea how much of a difference it would make in the health of my skin. I have had severe lymphedema in my legs for 20+ years and it has wreaked havoc on the skin below my knees. It is thin, dry, sensitive, and often painful. It had that “elephant-like” thick, hardened and scarred appearance in some places, common to stage 4 disease progression. But after just a couple of applications of this body butter under my compression socks and wraps, my skin condition was dramatically transformed. It can’t cure or reverse lymphedema, but the texture and appearance of my skin is almost completely normal- it has a supple elasticity it has not had in years. The pain and sensitivity are also greatly improved. Going on subscription for this product so I am never without it. It goes a long way - I don’t actually use a whole jar in a month, so I will gift my surplus to others who may benefit from this healing balm.
